Boys Before Friends - American Drama Remake

Okay, I know this isn't a Korean or Japanese Drama but it's a remake of the Japanese Manga Hana Yori Dango.  They remade Hana Yori Dango basically because the Korean version Boys Before Flowers was a huge success.

Now it's been years since I watched the Japanese version and the Korean version but I do remember liking the Japanese version the best, maybe because I saw it first.  I liked Rui Hanazawa, the actor who played him, Shun Oguri, was cute. The main girl, Makino Tsukushi, I think is cuter than the Korean Geum Jan Di.

In the Korean version, who could not like Yoon Jiho, played by Kim Hyun Joong? I ended up liking SS501 because of Kim Hyun Joong.  Also, I really liked So Yi-Jung, Kim Bum's character.  I thought he was the cutest of the whole group. Plus, Yi-Jung seemed like the nicest one of the whole group, maybe because he smiled alot.

This American version, changed the kids from high schoolers to college students in a performing arts graduate school. I'm okay with that but there were so many things wrong with just watching the first episode.

First, the main girl Zoey, I wish they played down her looks and not make her so sexy.  Her makeup was too packed on her face.  I think she is suppose to be the opposite of the students at the school.  Those girls look like they are dressed to go clubbing at a moments notice.  Plus, I think she suppose to be middle class or a bit poorer since she can't afford to go to this elite school.  I'm wondering, how does she and her friend afford that really nice big apartment they live in? I'm thinking, they should be living in a studio at least.

Second, Liam, the leader of F4.  I really don't like that ponytail that he has.  I don't get how that's an upper class hairstyle.  I can understand the curls on Gun Jun-Pyo since that's a status thing in Korea (even though I didn't like it).

Also, for such an elite school, with the best of everything, their dance studio is a small room with no mirrors. And it looks like she's the only dance student there.  I haven't seen any other student in that room practicing.

At the beginning of the episode, there were so many flashbacks and harsh cuts it was very confusing.  I couldn't tell who the characters were and what was going on or why the events were happening.  The only reason I figured out what was going on because I already knew the storyline.

The sets and the filming looks like it's one of those B movies.  Even the acting seems like one of those B horror movies.  The acting is stiff and it just sounds like they are just reading a script instead of acting.  The only thing that saves the B horror movies is that you can actually make fun when the killing starts. I don't think that's going to happen in this drama. =/

Some of the F4 bullying seems more violent than the Korean version, and the boys seems more mean but I think that's how they were in the Manga, although I didn't read the manga but that's what I heard.

This is only from watching the first episode.  I don't know if I'm willing to watch the next episode.  It was really painful watching the first episode.  I read that their budget cost is really low since it was funded by fans on the online crowdfunding Kickstarter so they can't improve on their sets but lets hope they improve on the acting and scripts.  I hope the ones that wrote the script researched how the characters are because this seems like any other American TV show instead of Boys Before Flowers.

Good luck to them. =/

Switch Girl, Season 1

I know most of the stuff we've been posting have been mostly Korean stuff but this time I wanted to write about a JDrama I recently finished watching.  It's called Switch Girl. It's an Aida Natsumi manga turned into a drama.

Synopsis:
Tamiya Nika is the switch girl.  She is the beautiful glamorous popular high schooler, during the school day.  But she has a secret life back home, she switches "off" into a complete mess.  She dresses in sweatsuits, glasses, no makeup, weird hairstyle, no manners when eating and farts. A complete slob.  She is the complete opposite of how she is in school.  Then she meets Arata, a transfer student and her life gets complicated.

This drama is super short, 8 episodes and about 30 minutes per episode.  It's a cute drama and it's like a live action anime.  The actress Nishiushi Mariya is really good going from beautiful to weird.  I wouldn't say ugly because she doesn't look ugly even at her worst but she does look like a weird awkward geek.  I love her over the top expressions, just like in an anime.

Nika lives with her parents and older sister (you never see the dad).  Her mom and sister are also switch girls.

Nika also has a best friend since kindergarten, Nino.  Nino is the only person in school who knows about Nika's switch off.  It's actually during their lunch breaks on the school's rooftop that Nika switch off with Nino.

There is also the Boss Monkey, Nika's rival in school.  Boss Monkey, use to be the most popular and beautiful one in school until Nika transferred into that school and that's when she lost her status from number one to number two, which she hates.

Then there's Arata played by Kiriyama Renn.  He's the quiet transfer student that doesn't want to be bothered by anyone.  He wears these "coke" bottle glasses to looks nerdy.  He's also very smart.  Without his glasses, he's really cute.  He actually reminds me of Yamapi. His hair style and even the way he acts.

If you can catch Switch Girl, it's worth watching. It's funny and over the top acting like anime.

There's Season 2 as well.  I haven't watched that yet.

Dongho from U-Kiss leaving group?

I read from asia247.wordpress.com that Dongho from U-Kiss is leaving the group because his "...determination about being active as a celebrity weakened." Also, he has health reasons.

NH Media made this announcement:

Dongho will be absent from team promotions starting withU-KISS’ new album which will be released this month, and he will be putting a hold on his activities as a celebrity…Starting from the beginning of this year,Dongho’s determination about being active as a celebrity weakened, and he has revealed that he doesn’t believe his health condition and stamina fit well with the life of a singer… After a long discussion with his parents, we have decided to accept their decision…Dongho expressed that he wanted to live a normal life rather than that of a celebrity…Although the decision of Dongho’s leave from the group is one that causes harm to the team’s activities, the members have all decided to accept this change as well… Although we feel burdened by the empty spot, the group will release a new album as scheduled as six members.”

He is the third member to leave the group. Alexander and Kibum had left in 2011.

He is actually the only member of U-Kiss I know because of the variety show, Maknae Rebellion years ago.  He was also on Raising Idol.  He was trying to learn how to speak English.  He was kind of cute, but I've only watched Key's portion of the show.  I've only liked the song Man Man Ha Ni.  And I haven't gotten really into U-Kiss that much.  It's too bad when a member leaves.  The group isn't the same when they do.

Well, good luck to Dongho. All the best for him.  Hope he comes back, he was pretty funny in variety shows.

Super Junior's Japanese Comeback - HERO

Photo: onehallyu.com/

Yea! Super Junior comeback! At least in Japan.  They came out with their first full Japanese Album on July 24th.  The first song released is Hero.  I love the song, especially since Eunhyuk starts off the song rapping in English.

A few notations regarding the MV: 1 - Kangin slimmed down a lot.  At times it's hard to recognize him.  2 - I'm glad they toned down Ryeowook's purple hair.  It's more white than purple/blue.  (Currently his hair is black since he's in the High School Musical).  3 - Eunhyuk's hair got slighty bright red and he looks skinner.  4 - I don't like Siwon's patterned suit. It's not only on the jacket but shirt and pants as well.

Right now you can't really find the MV easily.  Seems like the Japanese music companies don't want anyone outside of Japan listening to any of "their" music.  Other than Japan's EMI Music, who has a YouTube account, I couldn't find any official site to watch any japanese music videos.  I would think SM Entertainment would be annoyed that they won't promote Super Juniors' Japanese Album outside of Japan.  I would like it on iTunes or Amazon.com like the Korean songs.

I won't upload a video here since someone my trace it back to the account and force them to take it down.  Listen to it, I love the song.  Here's a song list from their album.  If anyone finds the CD or song please let me know, I would love to get it.

Super Junior Hawaii Experience

Eunhyuk on the beach =D
Photo: @sanjinamarie

Super Junior left Hawaii on July 15th. Well, most of them left on the 15th.  Eunhyuk left on the 17th.  For their brief stay in Hawaii they left a very big impression, not only on me, but a lot of K-pop fans who rarely see any big name K-pop idols in Hawaii.

When I heard that they had arrived on the island of Oahu, you can't imagine my excitement. Usually I hear that SMtown travels to New York or California, if they decide to travel to the U.S.  I'm always stunned that I don't hear them stopping over in Hawaii for refueling before continuing on back to Korea.  Why not???

In any case, they had arrived and stayed to do a photo shoot.  Coincidentally it's at the same time as the Korean Festival.  I thought they were going to perform there but sadly no.

During their time here so many fancams were uploaded to show where they were and what they were doing.  In the past, there were photos of them all clothed and if there were glimpses of their chest or bellies peeking from under their shirts fans would go crazy and I have to admit, me too.  But while they were here somehow it didn't seem strange that they were practically half naked on the beach surfing, tanning or relaxing.  I thought it was normal and didn't think anything of it.  All I kept on thinking was "YIKES! Some of them are getting pink.  Why isn't someone telling them to put on sunscreen?"  "Hope someone is giving them Tylenol and aloe to ease the pain if they felt any after being in the sun so long."  Kangin looked super red in one of the skateboarding pics.

My only brief sighting was on a Tuesday.  All the pics of Suju returning to Korea didn't have Eunhyuk in them.  People were saying there was one missing.  Yea! It looked like it was my bias, Eunhyuk.  I had to go down to the hotel to see if I could get a glimpse of Eunhyuk.

After work, Chai, my partner in crime, and I decided to see if he was actually still at the hotel.  I only had 2 hours before I had to be somewhere else.  We had gotten to the hotel and it didn't look like there were any fans hanging around.  We decided to wander back towards the beach and looked around.  Nothing.  Then back to the front of the hotel and hung out there.  We had heard that Eunhyuk was still there and had gone out in a silver car.  As we waited, I kept on looking at the time.  I was getting nervous because I needed to leave already.  Next thing I knew a car pulled up and I glanced at the passengers.  I notice the hair and thought "Is that him?!?"  As he walked by with the Prince Manager and someone else, my brain slowly decided "TAKE A PICTURE!"

Ugh! The delay between pressing the button and the click of the camera was too long.  Someone had walked between Eunhyuk and me as my camera snapped.  Sadly, I only got a bit of Eunhyuk's head in my pic. T_T

They had walked into the hotel and I was going to follow but stopped.  I didn't know if I was going to be too intrusive or not.  We had decided to leave.  Sigh...I would have wanted a picture with him.  In hindsight, I wish I was bolder and had followed and asked for a picture with him or  at least a hug.  Oh well, at least I have a memory of seeing him close up and in person, however briefly.  It was fate that my bias had stayed a day longer, hopefully so I could see him (haha).  I hope he comes back, so I could really get a photo with him.  Kyuhyun too.
=)

Eunhyuk on the right, this is what he was wearing when I saw him. =)

I hope that they had enjoyed their stay here, however, short and hopefully return.  I have high hopes that the rumors would be true and Suju would be coming back to Hawaii.

Super Juniors in Hawaii!

Photo copyrighted by: JosephLibby.com

AHHHH! Can I get anymore excited?!?  Super Junior is here on Oahu!  First Daniel Henney comes to Hawaii in 2012 for HIFF and I get to meet him. Now, miracles of all miracles, Super Junior DongHae and Siwon are on Oahu.

Well, at first it seems like it's only DongHae and Siwon.  But looking at the photo above, it looks like Shindong (in yellow) and Sungmin (see below) is here too.

Korean Drama Hawaii's Facebook stated that they are here for a photo shoot.  Kyuhyun, Eunhyuk  and Ryeowook will be arriving on Oahu either Friday or this coming weekend. Hopefully, visit the Korean Festival while they are here.

I don't know how long they will be here but hopefully long enough for me to catch a glimpse of them. =)

Enjoy the Hawaii sun boys.

Super Junior Cruising in Hawaii!

Green Tea will probably have more to add to this, she's so extremely excited, but tweets from members themselves and confirmed by local sources show that members of the K-Pop group, Super Junior, are here in Hawaii!

Donghae uploaded a video to YouTube, which was also uploaded by SM Entertainment on July 11th.

Siwon also tweeted a photo of the view of the sunset from Waikiki Beach and tweeted the morning of July 11th that he was enjoying an espresso from one of the two major coffee companies on Oahu, Honolulu Coffee Company. We couldn't tell which one, but we know all of the Honolulu Companies are in Downtown or Waikiki.

What they are in town for, one can only assume that it's for the Korean Festival happening this weekend at Kapiolani Park! UPDATE: They are in town for a photo shoot. =)

A big welcome and aloha to SuJu! Welcome to our lovely state!

FT Island's Song Seung Hyun Seen Sporting a Ring

FT Island Performing "I Hope You'll Be My Bride" (to the tune of "We Hope to Be Lovers") at the "wedding" of vocalist Lee Hong Ki to actress Fujii Mina

In a previous post, I mentioned that FT Island's maknae had confessed that he was in a relationship.

Now, I hope I'm not starting a rumor, but recently, I had seen him sporting a very simple gold band....on his right hand. Haha, thought that I was gonna say "left"?

Most jewelry on idols nowadays range from as simple as a necklace or bracelets to something outlandish as spiked headbands. (I'm definitely thinking of Hong Ki as I'm writing this.) But nothing speaks more or is more noticeable than a 반지 (panji/ring).

There it is! Can you see it??

During the 8th episode of the reality couple show, "We Got Married Global", you can see Seung Hyun with a ring on his right ring finger. Aww, could this be a tribute to his "significant other"? One can surely hope so.

So sweet Seung Hyun!

FT Island's Song Seung Hyun the Musketeer!

Song Seung Hyun as the Young d'Artagnan

En garde! And prepare to defend yourself against the charms of FT Island's maknae, Song Seung Hyun as he embarks on his newest musical, "The Three Musketeers".

Japan will be re-booting this classic onstage and Seung Hyun has been cast as one of the leads playing the young swashbuckler d'Artagnan August 8th through 24th.

Song Seung Hyun is showing that he has more than just guitar playing skills. He's surprised fans, including myself, with his sweet singing voice and his acting skills. He finished promotions for his last musical, "Jack the Ripper" earlier this year and it seems like he is on the rise as a musical star. Looking forward to hearing only great things about him!

Don't forget to parry Seung Hyun!

FT Island and CNBlue Invited to Summer Sonic 2013

CNBlue (top): Jung Shin, Jong Hyun, Yong Hwa, Min Hyuk
FT Island (bottom): Seung Hyun, Jae Jin, Min Hwan, Hong Ki and Jong Hun

Summer Sonic. One of the biggest concerts of the summer. And FNC Entertainment groups CNBlue and FT Island have been selected as the South Korean representatives to perform at the Summer Sonic concert in Japan on August 10th and August 11th.

These two groups are actively promoting their own concerts and tours. CNBlue is currently on their "world" "Blue Moon" tour and FT Island has just released another Japanese album and are promoting their "Freedom" and "Take FT Island" tours this summer. And this is only the top of their busy schedules as they are all in the midst of their own individual activities. CNBlue's Jong Hyun will be promoting a new drama (rumour has it), FT Island's Lee Hong Ki just wrapped up his new movie, "Passionate Goodbye" and reality TV show, "We Got Married Global". FT Island's bassist, Lee Jaejin, is currently promoting his new musical, "High School Musical" and guitarist Song Seung Hyun has recently been cast in yet another musical, Japan's version of "The Three Musketeers"!

But, as they say, they have to strike it while it's hot to have snatched up this opportunity! This is quite an honor since they will be performing with a lineup of superstars such as Muse (A favorite of FT Island's Jong Hun), Linkin Park and rock/metal legend, Metallica.

You can start searching for Summer Sonic tickets here. But be forewarned, the July 11th show is already sold out. Good luck!

FT Island On Seven City Japan Summer Tour

FT Island (l to r): Song Seung Hyun, Lee Jaejin, Choi Minhwan, Lee Hong Ki and Choi Jong Hun

If I lived in Japan, I would be extremely excited. But since I don't, I'm just excited and I must admit a little bit jealous of fans in Japan!

Korean K-PopRock group FT Island has begun their Japan promotions for their "FREEDOM" tour in Japan. Their seven city tour will also include cities that they haven't visited before and they seem super excited.

They say they will be showing off different genres and not just the "flower rock" they've become to be known for. What is "flower rock"? I know they have a song titled "Flower Rock". Anyone? Anyone? Songs off of their newly released Japanese album will be performed including the title track "Freedom", "Orange Sky" by Lee Hong Ki and "Hold My Hand" by leader Choi Jong Hun.

It seems though that the weather is not cooperating with them. FT Island vocalist Lee Hong Ki tweeted this afternoon that it is raining! Oh no! Those fans in Japan better get some slickers and umbrellas!

Following this tour, FT Island will go on tour promoting their "Take FT Island" concerts in the late summer. Tours upon appearances and musicals for members Lee Jaejin, Song Seung Hyun and Choi Minhwan, this band is really keeping busy!

On another note, CNBlue fans in the Philippines are welcoming FT Island's label mate over there for a stop on their tour! (Double jealous!)

Eyes On FT Island's Lee Jaejin in New Musical

FT Island Bassist and Vocalist Lee Jaejin in Korean version of High School Musical.

Lee Jaejin is working hard to tone his singing, acting and basketball skills in his new musical, "High School Musical". He has been cast in the male lead as "Troy". His label mate, and AoA member ChoA, has been cast in the female lead as "Gabriella".

If this is anything like the American version, High School Musical is about a group of teenagers trying to find a place for themselves in their school and personal lives. For instance, Jaejin's character, Troy, is an all-star basketball player who seems a shoe in into a great basketball school with full scholarship. ChoA's character Gabriella is a sweet kind of nerdy girl who is very shy. When they meet, they find a common bond between them, music. Their bond helps to break down all the social perceptions between cliques at their school, bringing everyone closer. It's a real feel good musical with great music. My favorite songs (personally) were: "Start of Something New" and "Breaking Free". Hmm...I feel like singing those now!

During it's run in the U.S., Disney made a killing on the soundtrack, apparel, spinoffs (into two other movies), toys and memorabilia. The original movie skyrocketed then real life sweethearts, Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens, into fame and mainstream culture.

From what I can see, they have all the essentials for a success here. Cute leads and from what I've read from different sources, they've kept some, if not all, of the original songs from the original movie. What I want to know is... can Jaejin dance?? FT Island members are known for their looks and their singing and playing abilities, but not their dancing!

All I can say is that Jaejin's voice is perfect for the role of "Troy". His sweet mid-tone range is sure to make any girl swoon. Jaejin, hwaiting! Saranghaeyo!

The musical will premiere on July 2nd at the Blue Square Samsung Card Hall in Seoul and will run till the 1st of September.

Cheer Up, Mr. Kim! Drama

Photo: hancinema.net

I've started watching this drama in March and it's June now.  I'm done with episode 90 and I'm stuck and can't watch anymore since I'm waiting for the english subs.  I don't mind the little break since I was doing the marathon drama watching, at least 4 episodes per night.  Each episode is approximately 30 minutes long.  There was a 2 week break because I had to wait for episodes 80-90 to be uploaded with english subs.  I do hope the subbers continue to sub this drama and not leave a bunch of us hanging without any closure.  I can wait as long as eventually it gets done.  I heard that there are not much subbers now to sub all the ShinHwa shows since their comeback.

This "family" drama is finished in Korea.  I thought there were only 113 episodes but in searching around the net, I found out that this is 124 episodes long.  Wow.  Based on the ratings, majority of the episodes has been number one.  Kim Dongwan had won the 2012 KBS Drama Award for Excellent Actor (Drama Series). By the way, what they call a family drama doesn't mean the whole family can watch this.  I think they mean that it has family situations, so the young kids may not enjoy this drama as much as the older viewers.

To summarize the drama.  Kim Dongwan plays a single guy, Kim Tae Pyung, who cleans apartments. He had taken a job as a housekeeper since he couldn't get anymore jobs to clean apartments.  He is also a guardian of four children, none of which are his.  He spends most of his life struggling to take care of the children, to the neglect of his own life.  So now you see him in his thirties balancing the children, his job and dating, which he never experience before since he was struggling to support the children.

The four children in his care are Tae Pyung's niece, Hee Rae, a high schooler who was abandon by his brother's wife after she gave birth to Hee Rae. Tae Pyung's brother has already died in an accident by the time the Tae Pyung's sister-in-law gave birth.  Song Ah, the youngest girl, was given to Tae Pyung to care for since Song Ah's parents are struggling to make ends meet. Chul Ryong, a North Korean college student and the eldest, is looking for his brother who, I think, defected to South Korea.  Their parents had died because Chul Ryong's brother left North Korea.  The three kids were already in Tae Pyung's care when the drama first starts.  Later in the drama, Tae Pyung ends up caring for Joo Sung, a high schooler and the same age as Hee Rae and also in the same homeroom class in school.

Although this drama is suppose to be mainly about Mr Kim and his struggles, the main story line is about Hong Hae Sook, a mother who is trying to take over control of Healing Water. Healing Water is a company that her husband was the CEO but had to step down because of health reasons.  When he was ailing, Hae Sook took care of running the company until her husband could return but he ended up being too sick to work again.  Her husband Boo Jang wanted his son Gun Wook, who was studying in America for years, to take over the CEO position.  Hae Sook wants the CEO position and both Boo Jang / Gun Wook, who returns to Korea, tries every way to take that position away from her.

The women in Tae Pyung's life are Ji Young who lives downstairs with her family in the same home that Tae Pyung family moves into.  Ji Young, a divorcee, always liked  Tae Pyung when they were young.  Ji Young is also the daughter of Tae Pyung's mentor, Kyeong Sool who lives with Ji Young.  There is also, Woo Kyeong a homeroom and PE teacher at the school Hee Rae goes to. Ji Young is also the school's nurse at the same school.

Just a warning, from the beginning, it seems as though the acting is very stiff with the actors.  What I found funny was it's the kids in the drama that seems to act more naturally than the adults. They have more range of emotions and doesn't seem like they are acting.  The other actors usually  look awkward with each other or very monotone in their acting. They always seem to have the same expression throughout the drama.

Up to episode 90, I find Tae Pyung to be very likable and not irritating, unlike the other characters.  I get so annoyed by some of the things the other characters do it's so frustrating.  In reality, it would be so nice to have a guy who can clean, cook and take care of the kids without complaining but just do it because it needs to be done.  He has his pride but it is overridden by the  fact that he needs to care for his kids.  So being a housekeeper, normally a "woman's" job, isn't something that he would look down on.  He has told others, who questions his choice of "career" and looks down on him, that it's a job that pays.  As long as he does a good job he's not ashamed of it. You can tell he takes pride in his work but also wished he was more educated and has a better job.  Also, I do like how he handles himself in a crisis.  He will get upset but he does try to think logically.  A few times he does let his emotions decide on his choices but you see his struggle in trying to do his best.

I won't do a episode by episode description of this drama like how I did The Romantic and The Idol but I'll tell you my opinion of each character in another blog, unless someone wants me to write about this drama, I will. Hmmm...this is getting long.

Watch Cheer up! Mr Kim if you can. If anyone knows where I can watch the remaining 91+ episode subbed let me know.  I'm dying to know what happens, it's getting exciting now.

Shinhwa's comeback This Love

They are back! I haven't posted any of their teaser MV or photos but here's their full video for This Love.  I prefer just listening to the song than watching their video.  I have a few complaints about the video.

First, I just don't like the whole jacket matching slacks when the jacket is patterned.  Patterned pants is just not good, solid colors are better.

Next, I wish the stylist would stop slicking back Eric's hair.  Even in the Venus comeback they slicked his hair in a weird style.  Either just mousse it or slightly spike it, he actually looks good in his more natural hairstyle.  He looks like a pimp with slick hair and some of the dance movements isn't helping either.

I kinda like that they toned down Junjin's platinum blonde hair to a darker shade.  I personally do not like Asian with platinum blonde hair.  Blonde Asian are weird looking, platinum blond is just bizarre.  I haven't seen a platinum blonde Asian Idol that ever looked good.  It has to be a darker shade.  Hyesung's hair looks good on him, it's closer to a brown shade.  Junjin looks cuter with black hair.

Then there's the choreography.  I'm no professional dancer but I know what I like.  Now, in the video when I was watching it several times, some of the movements seemed kind of feminine.  Minwoo seems a bit feminine at the beginning. What's strange is I watched their live performance on Mcountdown and it looked alright. Minwoo's body wave seems a bit feminine in the video but sexier in the live performance.  Odd.

Then there's Andy and Dongwan.  I have no complaints about them.  Andy still looks like Zombie. I think they have tone down his burgundy highlights, it's nicer.  Dongwan, he never seem to not look good, well, except for the Yo! song.  I think they had to go really extreme to make him look weird because he always looks wonderful.  I know people say Eric is the best looking one in the group but I think it's Dongwan.  Hmmm...a little bias.

One more thing.  They don't really say This Love.  It sounds more like Dis Love.  At least they don't sing Dis Lob.  Other groups, I've heard them singing lob instead of love.  Oh well, no one is perfect.

The most important thing is that I love the song.  I need to get it.  I lost track of how many times I   pressed replay on YouTube while typing this.  I think I'm getting obsessed again.

Here's the video.

Shinhwa 11th Album 'The Classic' release

Woohoo!  A new album from Shinhwa!

Release date is May 16th.

Here's a link to their teaser 'The Classic' Grand Tour'. I couldn't get the video to load here but the link will also have their concert schedule.  If you click on the Album tab on the site it will give you their Album's track list.  It's mostly in Korean.

I haven't seen any of their song releases.  I've been so busy watching the daily drama Cheer Up Mr Kim, I pretty much ignored everything else that was going on.  In any case, I thought they would release a single before their album release but I can't find any.  I can't wait for their songs to be released because I'm running out of songs to listen too.

Actually, I wish they would release T.O.P., Perfect Man and Wild Eyes on Amazon.com.  I  can't find those songs anywhere other than YouTube.  I'm getting obsessed with T.O.P. but I can't play it on my iPod over and over since I don't have the song.  My record for listening to a Shinhwa song or for any song is 100 plays in a couple of day.  I couldn't stop listening to Venus and had kept it on repeat.

Shinee's Why So Serious MV Teaser

Photo: callmepatricia.com

SHINee's back again, with a new song Why So Serious, misconception of me.  SMTown just released a teaser video.

I think I'm going to like this song better than the Dream Girl song.  I'm liking the style of the video better than the fantasy Dream Girl. I would like to see the whole video before comment any further.

In this teaser, Jonghyun is missing.  If you haven't heard, Jonghyun had been in a car accident on April 1st.  Yup, no April fool's joke.  After visiting his home, Jonghyun was driving back to his dorm when he hit the guard rails at Dongho Bridge.  He had to undergo surgery to fix his nose.  He will return to his normal schedule after his recovery.  Rest long and get better Jonghyun, your fans can wait patiently for you.

For now, here's the teaser:

The Romantic and the Idol Season 2 Episode 7

Photo:theromanticandidol.blogspot.com

Ahhhh....the last episode!  They finally get to pick their final selection.

Before they show where they left off in the previous episode, the start of this episode shows all the idols leaving Jeju Island.  You really can't tell who is paired up with who and they are looking friendly and playful.  Well, the ones that they filmed leaving: G.Na, N, Eunyeoung, Yewon and Kevin.

So, after the Truth Room, the PD tells all of them that tomorrow they can have a free date with anyone they want and do whatever they wish.

Jonghoon and Yewon spends the day together bike riding and going to a cafe to eat.  They even spent some time taking pictures together.   I got irritated with JH because even though he waited impatiently for her, when she asked if he waited long, he told he waited an hour.  Then he complained that he had the day planned but won't be able to do all of it since she took too long to get ready.  Hmmm...not a way to impress a girl, making her feel bad.

N gets to go out with both G.Na and Eunyeoung.  Kevin had to go back to Seoul to do a schedule but should be back for the final selections, so he didn't have a free date.  So I'm guessing N didn't want to leave someone without a date, he took both of them.  They go to a cafe to eat.

Jiwon goes out with Min Hyuk.  This is the first time they got to spend some time alone together on a date.  They go to a stable.  They took pictures together.  They sit around and just talk.  Jiwon even says that she still feels awkward around him.  It's like they are each others' ideals but they are not comfortable around each other and they want to be.

When it's time to go and do their final selection, they show everyone being driven to the location of the final selection.  While in the van, Min Hyuk confesses that he is still unsure of his choice.  Jonghoon voices his surprise.

Now, the final selection.  Each girl is standing in a designated location, apart from each other so they can't see the other person.  The 4 guys will walk together to each girl, meet her then, after the PD counts to ten, if the guy(s) picks the girl as their selection, they stay.  If not, then the guy(s) should walk away.   Then after another count to 10, if the girl selects the guy, she will hug him. If she doesn't select him, she shakes his hand.  Ahhh...this seems so cruel.

The first girl the guys walk up to is G.Na.  You can tell, all the guys are relaxed except Jonghoon.  He looks so tense.  She is so nervous and wants to turn around and not watch.  As the PD counts, Jonghoon bows is head.  At the end, N and Min Hyuk are the first leave, then Kevin.  There is a pause and as G.Na looks up as Jonghoon turns to leave as well.  G.Na explains that she would have picked JH because she been on the most dates with him, she's comfortable with him and he treats her well. Even on their last date to the cafe (the song selection) he was really nice to her when she expected it to be awkward.  She said that she expected it but it still feels weird.  Then she starts to cry and said she doesn't know why.  I think even though she expected it, there is always a tiny bit of hope that he would stay.

The second location had Eunyeoung.  Eunyeoung is nervous and jumping around.  As she sees N, she's really happy.  When it's time for the boys to select, Eunyeoung looks down.  Jonghoon then Min Hyuk leaves, as expected.  N, who Eunyeong selected, turns to leave as well. He seemed really regretful knowing that Eunyeoung likes him but she wasn't his final selection.  Kevin, who had the most dates with Eunyeoung, hesitates then walks up to her and hugs her.  He then tells her "I'm sorry" then leaves.  She crouches on the ground and still with a smile on her face but you know she's hurt.  In the end she ends up saying, that hope they all don't get picked.

Next is Yewon.  As the boys walk towards her you see Jonghoon is all nervous, as well as Min Hyuk. As they approach her, she is surprised that all 4 boys are standing in front of her and she wonders why.  As the count down ends both N and Kevin leaves.  As they look back N is surprised that both Jonghoon and Min Hyuk are staying.  I think they believe that Min Hyuk would go to Jiwon as well.  Jonghoon looks upset that Min Hyuk stayed as well.  Yewon asks if she could ask a question.  "What's the reason that they picked her?" JongHoon says that since the first time they met, he had his eyes set on her and felt closer to her as they went on their dates.  Min Hyuk says me too, that he was confused for a while but decided to go with his feelings.  He wanted to go on dates with the others to see how he feels but he always selected her on the dates. As Min Hyuk talks you can see Jonghoon is upset and as the countdown proceeds, he is looking really upset and can't look at Yewon.

Then it cuts to Jiwon's location.  She says she is torn between Min Hyuk and N. Then the 2 boys final guys show up, Kevin and N. As the countdown proceeds she starts walking towards them then turns around.  The PD tells her she can wait until she's done counting.  When it's done, Jiwon hesitantly walks up to both of them.  She shakes Kevin's hand.  He then smiles as she turns to N. N also smiles. Then Jiwon also sticks her hand out to shake N's hand.  Her final selection was not either of them.  In the last interview, she said she came to a final conclusion when they walked up and her thought was "Ahhh...he didn't come."  She wanted Min Hyuk.

Then it cuts back to Yewon's location and her final selection.  As she walks up to the 2 guys, she says that at the moment she is going with her feelings.  She knows if they had more time, it might have been different but now she's just going with her feelings.  Then she hugs Min Hyuk. He smiles. You can see Jonghoon is upset.  When she turns to shakes Jonghoons hand, he shakes her hand then turns his head.  He can't even look at her.

My thoughts:  As I was waiting for the last couple of episodes to be subbed, I had started watching the first season of The Romantic and the Idol.  The second season participants seemed to take this show a bit too seriously.  Based on the comments I've read, people were hating on Min Hyuk because it seemed like he was playing around with Yewon and Jiwon's feelings and focusing on one person, like Jonghoon.  In the end, I understand why he did that and can't fault him.  In a couple of days, how can you seriously fall for someone and just decide this is the person you want to be with.  I like how he just want to meet everyone first before deciding who he likes the best.

For JongHoon, I wish he had looked around instead of being stuck on Yewon once he saw her at the airport.  I don't think he endeared himself to Yewon on one of their dates, I believed he kind of irritated her.  He even got irritated when she was late for their free date.  I think he should have  tried harder to get to know Jiwon and Eunyeong.

I think Kevin may have been good with either G.Na or Eunyeong and N with Jiwon.  Yewon and Min Hyuk are a good match because they seems to act the same way.

Well, that's it.  If you haven't, watch the first season.  I like that season better than Season 2.

Super Junior in Brazil!

Hey, SJ fans in Brazil! Wow, you're so lucky.

Super Junior is in Brazil as part of their Super Show 5 World Tour.  It took them 20 hours from Korea to Brazil.  When they first arrived there, they attended a charity event.  They had donated 2,000 shirt to friends in need.

They will be holding 5 shows in 4 South American countries (Sao Paulo on April 21, Buenos Aires on April 23, Santiago on April 25 and Lima on April 27).

If you haven't gotten your tickets yet, well, it's too late.  I'm guessing it's all sold out.  Hopefully you can spot them around your area.  They seem to be out and about when they had some free time.

Here's more pics from their twitter account:

Daniel Henney sings Diana

Kekeke!

Look what I found on YouTube!  Daniel Henney singing live at a concert.  The song is Diana from his movie My Father.  I have yet to watch that movie.

He gave a lot of effort and it looks like he's enjoying himself.  I think that counts. This time he's singing in english and plays the electric guitar.

He's so good looking and has a lot of charisma which makes him a great model.  He's a good actor   who can do both dramas and comedy.  For someone that's good looking he really lets himself go and not care about his image, which makes it fun to watch him in comedies.  But I guess he can't have it all.  He's not a singer and I wouldn't count on him being a professional singer but if he got a girlfriend, she would be so lucky to have him sing to her.  I would envy her.

He's so cute singing and it's so hilarious watching him perform Diana.  You gotta love the effort and confidence.  He looks good in glasses too.  Enjoy!

Shinhwa Forever Subbers

Previously, in one of my posts, I had thanked the many subbers who took the time to sub all these Korean/Japanese dramas, variety shows, songs, etc because without them I would have never have enjoyed many of the shows I love watching.

As I was searching through the internet looking for one of Shinhwa Broadcast's episodes with their pets I stumbled upon Shinhwa Forever's tumbler site.  Now, in my naive mind, I knew there were subbers but I didn't know some of them were groups of people who sub these shows because they wanted to share the shows/groups/etc that they love.  Shinhwa Forever is a group of subbers who love Shinhwa and wanted to spread the Orange love. They would sub everything and anything that has a Shinhwa member in it.  They would have their logo in the upper right corner on all their work that they have done.

I got so excited when I found the site, especially since I saw that they were subbing Cheer Up Mr Kim and Shinhwa Broadcast.  For a while I was watching Shinhwa Broadcast but it seemed like Google was deleting the show on YouTube because I had a hard time finding all the episodes.  I didn't know where to find the show.

Then, to my dismay, I read some of the older posts they wrote last year. I couldn't believe these nice people were being harassed daily by people who didn't know the Korean language.  These people would complain that SF was subbing too slow and not posting the shows fast enough.  Really???  I was stunned that anyone would message them anything negative.  For some reason, I got really upset that SF was being harrassed and I didn't know them.  I got more upset that someone was actually taking their hard work and making money off of the work that they do and taking credit for it.  What the...?!?

Why am I writing this?  I want people to realize all the hard work that not only Shinhwa Forever but all subbers do.  There is absolutely no reason to be angry or hateful for not subbing your favorite shows or not subbing faster.  If you think it's easy, you do it or learn the language for goodness sakes! I'm not saying I don't get impatient for the next subbed episode but I would never complain to the subbers that they are slow.  I just patiently wait then jump for joy when it's uploaded.

And to the person who's stealing from Shinhwa Forever, you left me speechless, since I shouldn't be posting obscenities, I'm not going to say it here.  Let's hope you understand what I mean.

Ok, I'm done with my rant (well, I can go on but I'll stop).  Let's hope everyone will show a lot more appreciation for these subbers.

Daniel Henney sings Kissing Me

I'm wondering if any Daniel Henny fans remembers him singing?

Years ago, in my Daniel Henney obsession phase in my life, I had to watch everything Daniel Henney.  My first introduction to Daniel was Spring Waltz, his second Korean drama.  Then I was told he was also in My Name is Kim Sam Soon.  So of course I had to watch that too.

Then, he did a movie called Seducing Mr Perfect.  It's a lite romantic comedy set in Korea.  It's about a woman who always gets dumped by her boyfriends.  Then along comes Robin Heiden, her boss played by Daniel Henney, who is completely opposite of how she feels about love and relationships.  He treats it as a game of power.  When I first saw the movie, I loved it.  You probably can guess why. hahaha.   Now, it's an alright movie but now I prefer his latest rom-com Shanghai Calling.

In any case,  there was a OST for the film Seducing Mr Perfect called Kissing Me.  Daniel Henney and Alex, from Clazziquai Project, sings this song.  Alex, yeah, he's got a nice smooth voice.  Then there's Daniel.  He's not Alex but he can hold his own and he sings in Korean.

I've listen to this song over and over.  Daniel knows how to perform in front of the camera because I just enjoy watching him sing.

Here's his OST with Alex, who's Korean-Canadian.

The Romantic and The Idol Season 2, Episode 6

Well, I've been very behind on my Episodes.

This episode starts with the couples, Min Hyuk/Yewon, JongHoon/G.Na and N/Jiwon on their mini-song selection date.  It's a moonlight date with no crew but their own handicam.

Min Hyuk and Yewon seemed very comfortable together at a cafe.  On a side note: they do seem to be very concerned with how they look, ie. constantly fixing their hair, looking at their reflection, etc. when they are together.  They seem to have a very comfortable skinship, Yewon touching Min Hyuk's face when he pointed out something on his face.  He also touches her face.

On Jonghoon and G.Na's date at a ramen-like cafe, it looks like Jonghoon is trying to be a good date.  Very attentive.  It seems like he's giving G.Na mixed messages on this date.  At first you can see he's disappointed and wanted to hangout with Yewon as they walk from the cabin. At this restaurant, he's being really nice, like he wants to please G.Na.  It's kind of like what he told Min Hyuk not to do on one of the earlier episode.  Do not confuse the girl by being really nice.

N and Jiwon's date at a restaurant, this is where N tells Jiwon when he started liking her.  At one point they turn off the handicam to just talk privately. Hmmm...

Then they showed Kevin and Eunyeoung at a restaurant since they were not "coupled" with anyone.  Eunyeoung was telling Kevin her feelings and Kevin trying to comfort her.  Personally, I wish she would open her eyes and look at Kevin.  I think they would be good together.  Ok, I'm switching my opinon now that I see Kevin and Eunyeong together.  Kevin looks like he would be very attentive to Eunyeoung if they got together.

Then the moonlight  mission: the piggyback.

G.Na is so against this.  She even suggests she piggybacks Jonghoon and doubt that he can carry her.  In the end, Jonghoon gives G.Na a piggyback.  She even looks like she's enjoying it.

N was really nice and gave Jiwon the piggyback saying she's not heavy after she apologies to N as he was giving her a piggyback.  They looked like they were enjoying this mission.  Real cute together.  I think they would make a nice couple.

Min Hyuk made it like a drama.  Yewon looking for someone to give her a piggyback and "spots" Min Hyuk.  Poor thing, you can hear Min Hyuk panting and see him having a hard time carrying her.

As they return to the cabin, they have another mission.  It's the midnight confession in the Truth Room.  They all gather in front of a room at a distance, so that everyone can see in but they can't hear what the couples are talking about.  Each person gets to select someone to bring into the room and discuss anything and the answer has to be the Truth.

First up is Min Hyuk who selectes Jiwon.  Yewon looked upset.  He asks Jiwon why she selected him in the mid-selection. She tells him he's her ideal but feels awkward around him when they are together.

Next is Kevin, who also picks Jiwon.  He tells her how he feels and how inexperience he is at dating.  He's so shy and awkward.  Jiwon didn't say anything since Kevin didn't ask her anything. He just confesses to her.  Poor thing, Jiwon is interested in N or Min Hyuk.

When it's N's turn he picks G.Na.  Eunyeoung and Jiwon looked surprised.  G.Na got all excited when N asked her about Jiwon, since he's interested in Jiwon.

First girl to pick is Jiwon and she picked Min Hyuk. She bluntly asked Min Hyuk who he likes and why was he interested in her.  If his opinon changed from before.  He told her he was still confused and these talks are making him more confused.  They do confess to each other that they still feel awkward around each other. Hmmm...why pick someone if you feel awkward around them?  They seem to like each other just because of the other person's image and they look like their ideal.

Next is G.Na and of course she picks Jonghoon.  Here she confesses her feelings to Jonghoon.  She keeps on talking and doesn't let him speak.  Although I don't know what he can say other than   saying sorry for being too focused on Yewon and not interested in her.  =P

Jonghoon then picks Yewon and basically complains to her that she didn't pick his song in the song shuffle and she should have waited and not pick the first song.  At least Yewon got to talk a little to Jonghoon.  He told her that he hasn't changed his mind.  Wow, a lot of pressure on Yewon.

Yewon picks Min Hyuk for the Truth room, to the disappointment of Jonghoon and Jiwon.  In the room,  Yewon bluntly asked Min Hyuk his feelings.  He still says he's confused.  Yewon was disappointed but says now she not confused anymore, since his feeling may have changed.

Next,  Eunyeoung picks N. She clarifies her feelings to N.  N, so uncomfortable since his feeling for her has changed.

The session ends with them gathered together to talk.  Everyone was gathered at the table except for Kevin.  I wish Kevin participated with everyone.

I know there were comments about how Minhyuk was flirting with Eunyeoung but I don't think so.  It just looked like he was playing with her and tried to make her relax.  She was always quiet around everyone because she's the youngest the the most rookie.  She was always more relaxed in the interviews and one on one with a person.

The end of the episode shows them in the car traveling to where they must pick their final selection.  MinHyuk still unsure and Jonghoon flabbergasted that he hasn't decided yet.

Cheer Up Mr Kim Drama

I've been behind in blogging.  One reason is this daily drama "Cheer Up Mr Kim"

Now, I usually don't watch dramas more than 16 episodes, 20 episodes is pushing it, maybe I'll watch a 24 episode drama but it has to be really good, never mind a daily drama.  BUT Mr Kim is 100+ episodes and a daily drama.  What was I thinking?

First, I started watching because of Kim Dongwan.  A member of Shinhwa, one of my newest obsessions.  I just vaguely heard of it in passing on one of the variety shows and looked  it up.  I didn't know it was a daily drama and started watching it.

This is about Kim Tae Pyeong (Kim Dong Wan).  He is the guardian of four children who came from different families.  He works as a housekeeper part time but cleans apartments full time.  He also comes from a difficult childhood.

Gosh, if I needed a housekeeper, I'll sure to hire him, he's so good-looking (just look at his picture).  sigh...so cute....  His character has such a upbeat personality.  With all the hardship he's gone through, he still tries to be positive.  I think any woman would what him as a husband.  He cooks, cleans, take care of kids, very responsible, very complementary, hard worker and so nice and well mannered.

Why do I keep watching this?  His character is so likable and seems to have a lot of common sense for the first 10 episodes (which I just finished).  In other dramas, and I know it's just to make the dramas exciting, but sometimes the some of the characters just doesn't use common sense.  It's usually: Don't do that, you'll get caught or don't talk out loud to yourself, you'll be overheard.  It get me very frustrated.  Recently, in the last few dramas I watch I don't know how many times I've talked back saying "Why are you doing that?" hahaha.

Watch Cheer Up Mr Kim if you can, plus Dong Wan also sings the OST.  I love his voice.

I'll finish up Romantic and the Idol since I need to tie things up, then on to Mr Kim.

SHINee's Dream Girl cover by "The Managers"

I thought this was funny that SMTown had put this video out.  The first time I saw this, I couldn't stop laughing.  The managers of SHINee, Super Junior, f(x), SNSD and EXO danced to SHINee's Dream Girl.

The managers are:
SHINee's - in the red and black jacket
Super Junior's - in the white jacket
EXO's - in the black jacket and knit cap
SNSD's - in black pants and shirt with "I Trust" on it
f(x)'s - in black pants with red strip.

They look young for managers of these popular groups. They were pretty good considering that they are not performers but managers. They did keep some of the choreography simple when they got to their solo parts.  Dancing with the mops instead of mic stands was funny.

SJ's manager is cute and a pretty good dancer.  He kept to Minho's part well.

EXO's manager is kind of funny performing Taemin's part.  He did some parts but he probably knows that he can't dance like Taemin, so he made a lot of the movements up.

I would have loved to hear what the groups said about their managers' performance.

Bae Yong Jun still in Hawaii?

In a previous post, Bae Yong Jun and Hyun Bin was spotted in Honolulu.  Well, it seems like in a recent article in the Honolulu Star-Advertiser, Bae Yong Jun has been in Hawaii for a month.

People has been going to his new coffee house Gorilla In The Cafe in hopes of spotting him. Has anyone eaten there?  How's the food?

In another article from AllKpop, it was reported that he's been staying in Hawaii to focus on his new coffee house and his health.  His health??? I hope it's just to rest up and it's nothing serious.

Key West Entertainment says he has no specific schedules so they don't know how long he plans to stay in Hawaii.

He has also gifted some of his staff members a 7 day vacation in Hawaii.  How nice of him.

If anyone spots Bae Yong Jun, please let us know.  We won't stalk him, but it would be nice to know.

Shinee's Dream Girl comeback

Aish! I've been busy and behind on so many things.

One thing is SHINee's back...again and I'm liking the song. Dream Girl is their 2013 comeback song. Their 3rd album is Dream Girl: The misconceptions of you.

First off, I have to say, it's been a long time since all the boys look really good.  In other concepts, there is always one person that the stylist messed up their hairstyle.  I guess I just like short hair.

In the MV, I completely missed the song the first time I watched it since the visuals were so distracting.  It's very fantasy, Alice in Wonderland-like concept. The clothes are very colorful and seemed so mis-matched.  There a few choices where the boys look just odd, but overall I like the style.

For the song, I like it.  They describe it as a mix of acid electro funk.  To me, it's like a mix of Dazzling Girl and Sherlock. Taemin and Minho has more singing parts in this song.  It seems like they are just increasing their parts more with each song.  I'm so glad for them.

Choreography-wise, I've been watching their stage performances and I like that they dance with the mic stands.  Very different.

This is what SMTown said about the album:

The 3rd album is released in twopackages: Chapter 1. "DreamGirl-The misconception of  you" and Chapter 2. The misconception of me, and Chapter 1 and 2 have hidden keywords organically related with each other that the album gives the fun of finding and connection keywords and interpreting them in a variety of ways...the story-like element, the fun of listening....

Nice.

Here you go...Enjoy the video and the Dance Version too, cuz, you know I like those too. =D

Romantic and the Idol Season 2, Episode 5?

Well, I'm completely confused on the episodes numbering.  I just noticed I'm off on the episodes.  The first episode was introducing the idols.  Episode 2 was going on their first date, their first meeting.  Episode 3 was the necklace selection for Date #2 and filming of their mid-selection.  Episode 4 was their mid-selection and and Date #3, the sweater selection.

I thought this was Episode 5 that I'm going to write about but based on the video I'm watching, they are labeling it as Episode #4. So confused.  In any case, I'm going to call it Episode 5, unless someone corrects me.

Min Hyuk and G.Na went on their first date together.  It seemed like they were more friends hanging out together than going on a date.  G.Na even said to Min Hyuk that she was more relaxed with him and it felt like they were just going out to play instead of being interested in each other.  They went to a go-cart track.  They called N and Jiwon to join them there.

Lucky Jonghoon got to date Yewon and went to a museum then a forest park.  Kevin and Eunyeong went on a boat ride.

Then the mission... a kiss on the forehead.

Kevin and Eunyeong, I think, was the cutest and looked the most romantic.  I think because Eunyeong is the youngest in this group and Kevin is so unsure of himself because he never dated. I like their shyness.

N and Jiwon was funny.  N had a place in mind and took Jiwon there.  He even told Jiwon to close her eyes and to keep it closed even after he was done because he would be embarrassed. He ran away right after the kiss. hahaha.

Min Hyuk and G.Na.  It was like parent kissing a kid.  G.Na did the kissing and told Min Hyuk that he was all grown up.  He was surprised at the kiss, I think because G.Na didn't tell Min Hyuk about the mission.  And the guy was suppose to do the kissing.

Then there's Jonghoon and Yewon.  He did one kiss but it didn't count because they were suppose to film it.  They had to do it again, which I don't think Jonghoon didn't mind.  Even though he wanted to do it, he was still embarrassed the second time when it happened and even ran away once it was done.  It seems like Yewon's opinion of Jonghoon changed on that date and not for the better.  After the kiss, he kept on saying things that irritated her.

At the end of the day, there was another date shuffle.  The music selection.  The each guy picked a song. The girls will each sit in separate rooms in the cabin.  While each guy waits out on the lawn, their song choice will be played.  If any of  the girls like the song, they will come out of the cabin to meet with the guy.

I think this is the cruelest selection.  If no one comes out then the guy doesn't get a "night" date.  If two girls come out then he gets to picks one of them and the other girl gets nothing. Why can't they just send them back so everyone gets matched in the end?

Min Hyuk got Yewon, again.  Jonghoon got G.Na, again.  Fate???

Lucky N got both Eunyeong and Jiwon.  N ended up picking Jiwon.  Eunyeong was very unhappy and started tearing up and couldn't stop.  Poor Kevin had no one left since he was last and all the girls had left the rooms.  He ended up hanging out with Eunyeong who couldn't stop crying.

One thing I thought was amusing was Jiwon.  During the whole time of the music selection, as she was listening to the music in her room, she was folding her clothes or smelling her lotion. hahaha.

After the selection, Min Hyuk, Yewon, Jonghoon and G.Na walked together.  Poor G.Na, she was left walking by herself as Jonghoon kept up and walked next to Yewon.  I understand that JH likes Yewon but like the other dates, he should at least be considerate to G.Na and not blow her off.

At this point, Jonghoon is getting on my nerves.  Well, actually, so are G.Na and Yewon.  I wish they would look around and see if anyone else may interest them.  This is the time they can freely "date" or talk to others because when they go back to their "Idol" lives they will have a hard time dating.

Eunyeong is in the same situation but somehow I just feel sorry for her.  She's so young and really fell hard for N.  Plus, N really liked her at the beginning but starting to find someone else that he's attracted to.  I hope she doesn't get hurt too badly.

Right now, I don't think Jonghoon and Yewon match.  I kinda like N and EunYeong pairing.  Min Hyuk and Yewon?  or Jiwon?  I like Jiwon better with Min Hyuk. The rest? Well, does everyone really need to be paired up?  I don't think so.

Episode 6 is up and with translation. YEA!
